Duothink is a software company based in Aberdeenshire. We make party games for iOS and Android, and PVG Pal, a safeguarding compliance tool used by Scottish organisations. We use AI heavily in how we build — that's how a company this size ships this much.
About us
How we work.
Duothink is small on purpose. We build with the current generation of AI coding tools at the centre of the process rather than bolted on at the edge — writing and reviewing code, generating tests, drafting copy, checking accessibility. That's what lets two people ship several apps a year instead of one.
In practice we work the way a much larger team would: everything in version control, automated builds and tests, staged releases, and the same review discipline whether a person or a model wrote the first draft. The speed comes from compressing the slow parts — boilerplate, refactors, test coverage, store submissions — not from skipping the careful ones.
We build in two directions: games, and tools for jobs that need doing. Both take the same route — build it, get it through store review, put it in front of people, fix what's wrong. Each app teaches us more about that route than the last one did.

Game Jester
A multi-game party app for iOS and Android — phone-to-phone Bluetooth duels, board game companions, family car games and party games. All offline, no server required.

A gorgeous visual riddle every day — plus a party game where the cards are alive. Match a phrase to one of five dreamlike, looping clips, then guess which is whose. Beautiful to look at, open to interpretation, and built on a hand-curated library of AI clips no one else can copy.
